Confidence Elementary is Awarded General Electric Additive Education Program

Photo collage of 3D printer and materials from grant Confidence Elementary School principal Colleen Huston and retired technology engineer Bob Huston wrote and submitted a grant proposal to the General Electric Additive Education Program.  Mr. Huston worked with Confidence fourth and fifth grade teachers and students last school year.  Students learned to design and print their own 3D projects.
Our Confidence grant was selected in July as one of over 400 schools from around the world to participate in this 3D printing program.  In addition to training videos and webinars, Confidence was provided with a Polar 3D Classroom Package consisting of:  2 Polar Cloud enabled 3D printers (one Polar3D Printer and one XYZ da Vinci Jr. 3-in-1), 12 rolls of filament, 1 STEAMtrax Module Kit, Tinkering with Turbine materials, and  Premium Polar Cloud access.
