Mrs. Torman's Class won the Buffalo Public Library Pumpkin Decorating Contest!

Mrs. Torman and her first grade students decorated a pumpkin with the theme, "There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Leaves" book they read in class.  Buffalo families and community members visited the library and casted votes on each pumpkin. BES had 12 pumpkins in the contest-one for each class Headstart-5th grade. Mrs. Torman's class won! They were awarded a $25 gift card from the library.
