The purpose of this club is to promote school spirit and community involvement at extracurricular events. Pep Club's mission is for students to become more engaged in school activities. This club is student ran and will promote school spirit by showing sportsmanship, commitment, and positivity. We will be working with administration, Student Council, and coaches to create fun ways support our student body throughout the school year. What Will I Do? The first thing you should know is that this is more than just an extra-curricular activity. Being a member of Pep requires a commitment of your time to meet both at school, and attend school events. It is extremely important that you know being a member means you will represent WHS in a positive manner. For those interested, will meet the second week of school to go over details. If you are interested in becoming an officer, please submit a letter of interest to Mrs. Chandler and Mrs. Harper via email. Your letter must include your name, grade, why Pep Club is important to you, and why you will be a good leader for Pep. Send letters to Megan.Chandler@k12.wv.us AND Brittany.Harper@k12.wv.us AUGUST 29th, 2022.

NHS members! There is a great opportunity for you to earn lots of community service hours this coming Friday, August 12, 2022. You could probably earn all the hours you would need for the year! The job will be at WHS next Friday starting at 8 a.m. We will be painting numbers on all the parking spaces at the school. We will stay until we get it finished, so I'm not sure how many hours it will be. Anyway, I will have all the supplies needed, so you will just need to bring yourself in some old clothes and shoes and plenty of water! If you have a sports practice on this day, you are encouraged to come before or after practice. We will need all the help we can get! There will be a sheet to sign in and sign out. You must sign in and out in order for me to keep track of hours and to prepare your certificate for the hours you earned! Also, let me know if you plan on joining me Friday! My email is kgbrown@k12.wv.us.
